Please please please can everyone read the Scott pilgrim series before the movie comes out. Scott pilgrim is an independent comic created by Bryan Lee O'malley for Oni Press. This series (consisting of 6 titles when completed) started unknown and has gained such a cult following that is being made into a movie. Even films of the greatest stories can be terrible, hopefully this one wont be as it's being directed by Edgar Wright, one of the directors of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Anyways the series is easy to pick up and read, instantly captivating, and has a cast of characters that everyone will fall in love with. I've never met a reader who didn't like this witty series, and there's only 6 of them, so people I urge you to read them before the release of the movie this year.
